In The Pits : Philadelphia Supercross

It was not a nice day for walking around the pits a Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Rain lightly fell for most of the day until racing start however the track was nearly perfect when it came time for the main events.

It was cold and set in Philly. So cold that the HEP Progressive team used some of your grandma’s back warmers on the forks to keep that suspension fluid close to an operating temperature.
The Pheonix Honda team goes against the grain with gold rims and hubs. Notice the spokes safety wired together. Nice support brackets for that fork guard; that’s how you know there’s a lot of force when the starting device is engaged.
Lot of orange…
Cooper Webb’s Star Racing Yamaha is sitting with a comfortable points lead.
I’ve been hoping to see Jordan Smith back on his earlier season form but since his crash he hasn’t quite been the same.
I’m a sucker for nice brembo calipers. Justin Hill’s Team Tedder KTM scratches that itch.
The #10 has some momentum coming into the East / West showdown.
The Factory Beta bikes in the US don’t quite make the level of the machines in the MXGP series. Would love to see a Carbon or Aluminum fuel cel on these things in Supercross.
Win this bike from ClubMX. I love that the privateer team has some of the coolest bikes in the field.
